Man are they doing a great job winding down this series. I hate that it's ending as the new administration is shaping up to be an ass kicker. I loved the scene where Bartlett and Santos meet and we find out their grand strategy in Khazikstan. The show may have fallen into obscurity, but they're doing a hell of a job pulling themselves acrosss the finish line with some amazing episodes

I agree! And I loved th e preview for next week too! It looks like Santo is actually offering some position to Vinick!!!! Everyone told me I was nuts about thinking he'd be appointed VP...but maybe it's going to happen?

My favorite bit this week, well aside from Sam Seaborn being back, was Josh's internal struggle thing regarding "having a life". I love seeing his vulnerbility and not just his Josh Lyman Neirosis. And I loved how Donna is being so pragmatic with him regarding their relationship, just what Josh needs, of course. I wondered how they would approach that transition and enjoy that Donna has her heart on her sleeve, and her head in reality. Here's hoping Josh figures his shit out!

it was another fine show all the way around...the pace is REALLY picking up, too, as they try and cram more and more in. funny how they brought sam back in such a parallel way. damn, this show has some legs now...it could run for a while...the energy is back...feels like season 1 all over again.

    whoa is us!

I understand why it's time to end the show, but I wish we could have just ONE little season with the new administration to see them handle the issues. Even a HALF of a season. =) You could see in Bartlett's eyes when he was listening to Santos--that realization that he used to be like that and it's what he'll miss the most in 10 weeks. Santos was so fluid and spunky!

Also, let's get Josh down on one knee in the final episode. Enough people have pointed out how he needs to get a life!

<<You could see in Bartlett's eyes when he was listening to Santos->>

i got a little confused in that twist...when Santos met with Bartlet to discuss what he had said to the Chinese leader. It became obvious that the two of 'em were in a 'good cop/bad cop' game to make something happen in the crisis...did i miss something? was there ever any lead up to that? anything that could have been in previous shows that would have given that weight? i know i missed one show a couple of weeks ago...could it have been in that one? anyone?
